My Brother Has Parkinson's 😭

Welp. This last year has truly been absolute hell for the Cooperband clan.

Two days before my Uncle Joel died in October, my big brother Jared was diagnosed with early-onset Parkinson's Disease at 35 years old. It was truly the worst week of our lives.

My bro was having tremors for about a year before his diagnosis. He was taking all these sketchy Amazon vitamins and he noticed that some of them said side effects could include tremors and shaking. He thought that once he stopped taking them, the tremors would go away but unfortunately that wasn't the case. We would joke about it being Parkinson's but never in our wildest dreams did we imagine he actually had it.

I don't really have much else to add here at the moment. I just want to help spread awareness and also raise money for a cure.

My family is walking in the Parkinson Canada Superwalk in September. We originally set a team goal of $2,500 and just hit over $25,000!!!

We truly have the greatest friends and family on the planet. Our team is called For Goodness Shake and we are currently in second place in terms of donations.

Again, I truly don't have a lot to say about this right now. Just kind of wanted to update my 10's of loyal fans. If anyone did want to contribute to the cause, that would be much much appreciated. It would be awesome to overtake Boxing 4 Health but as long as money is being raised it doesn't matter what team 'wins.'
